Remaining at Penn State

Employees at Commonwealth Campuses may look to continue their Penn State career at another campus location. Employees whose campuses have been selected for closure following the spring semester in 2027 will be given priority consideration for job opportunities at other University locations.

To provide an overview and answer questions about the Priority Hiring Consideration Processes, Penn State Human Resources will host two virtual information sessions on Monday, June 30, for full-time staff and non-tenure-line faculty at closing campuses:

Employees can create a job alert within Workday to let them know new job postings are available matching their criteria. Job alerts can be customized to desired job profiles, locations, remote versus in-person work, and full- and part-time roles.

Once an employee selects a job posting of interest, they can apply internally through Workday.
